Things are proceeding swimingly in the endeavor of the pre-production stage in the development of new sonic offerings scheduled to be released in the first quarter of the new year.  We are tweaking and finalizing the structures and architecture of the new album and will begin recording in earnest after the first of the year.  The planets do thier dance and the stars align as the wheels go round and turn the time...

It has been some time since my last entry and much has happened and much is happening. After performing our grandest live experiment to date, the band and I took hyatis for a month to regroup and replenish our apparatuses.  This proved to be most transformational and necessary.  The energy ratio between what was coming in and going out was somewhat out of balance and proved to be taxing on the vital support systems.  The machine is now more finely tuned and is geared toward the new trajectory.  All systems are go!  We have now returned to the lab and begun pre-production for the new sonic offering, "The Alchemist" to be released in January of the coming year.  We have found support and friends in high places to help transmit and spread the message and the music.  We are slated to enter into a top sound capturing facility and emerge with sonic morsels, the likes of which have yet to be heard.  All promises to be stellar.  A prototype of one of the tracks may be obtained here.  I bid you peace....

Band activities in the Lab are proceding progressively.  We have harnessed full power at a handful of live experiments in public halls and have seen good results.  We are still improving upon the full expression equation as our signal is being transmitted out via the invisible radio waves across this great land of ours.  Visuals are next on the horizon, accompanied by an increasing frequency of live experiments and new sonic offerings.  The challenge is sustaining the influx of green energy to fuel the engines.  Stay tuned...

Much time has past since my last entry and much is happening.  The band is coming along nicely and ready to play. The music is being transmitted via radio waves across the United States and has been placed in local retailers nationwide.  Live performances are being booked.  The new musical offerings are in the early phases of the recording process.  The planets are alighning.  There is a 'ramping up' happening.  We are ready.  Here we go...

Long time since my last entry.  Have been busy forming the band and developing the live show.  This is a process and we are in the early phases of that process.  The power of the band dynamic is promising.  The new members thus far are Lady Di, Backing Vocals, Dannen King on guitar,  Thomas O. on guitar, and Mike Degatano on the drum kit.  We are having fun.

One month complete of live performance experimentation at 3rd St. has left me feeling that I have gained immense knowledge and yet have so much more to learn.  People come and go, stop and stare, and some engage and are touched.  My abilities are growing and magic is manifesting.  Meanwhile, new fruits are growing in the lab. New songs and a possible new video.  We have upgraded to another level and begin ascending the next.

Last week we began live perfomance experiments at Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica, CA. It was good to get out into the flow of life. The coming and going of humanity like molecules floating in spase, as we offer our song and dance to the night.  This is the beginning of a study. A study of myself as an artist and performer and a study of people,
about making contact and the gravitational pull of live art.
It's good to be alive. Tonight we go again.(see shows)

It's been some time since my last entry. Approximately 3 weeks ago, in mid stride, I suddenly found myself in the clutches of an icy grip of some kind.  I put on heavier clothes to warm myself up and proceeded to wait it out the rest of the night.  When I awoke the next morning, I found myself consumed by a fever of 103.5. After of week of this, I sought medical attention and came to know that I was dealing with pnuemonia.  Another week of fever came and went.  Finally, with the help of antibiotics, a few shaman and an indian chief, I find myself on the mend.  The mysterious and sudden onset of this illness seem to point to a final purification of some kind, perhaps a karmic passage that will now allow the completion of the transformation, the commencement of the mission and the fullfillment of my destiny.  I am now starting back up with the final preparations and am confident that live performances with very soon be taking place.

SpaseBlog Entry Friday 4/11/08 12:58 am - After considerable time spent in the laboratory, I am approaching the final stages of preparation before beginning Live experiments in the public forum. The days in the lab have taken on a life of their own. It's seems as though other worldly powers are at work. The tranformation is nearly complete. I have obtained the necessary electronic devices and gadgets to breath life, music and sound into the night air. I have secured the proper polarities and generated the required current to spark the electric blue light, to open the portal and to take flight. The next step is taking the horseless buggy, out of mothballs, and getting her primed for the tri-weekly trek to 3rd Street Promenade. Once she is prepped and all of the instruments are loaded, the last bits of magic are conjured, and the final few turns in the dance of perfecting are done, it will finally be time for the journey to begin....

Hello my friends. It is I, Tommy Spase who has chosen to manifest at this time to present myself and offer the musical gifts I have to give. I come in peace to serve...to give and to recieve..to share and to experience life on Planet Earth at the turning point of her existence, and at the turning point in the evolution of human kind. The stars have aligned, the portal has opened and I Am afforded the opportunity to step into my destiny and shine a light for the world to see. I do so with humility and with joy. I invite you to shine your light too, for we all have a role to play in this most pinnacle time in the history of this tiny Planet. I come to sing a song and to inspire a smile and a hope, for the days may be growing darker, but the light can never be extinguished. So, as I embark upon my journey in this world, I hope to make many new friends who will join me in my musical mission. It's all the same spirit, but we each have a different face.
